What is the Answer Totals report?
This report shows you the profile of answers that have been left for each question of a given survey.
How do I access this report?
This screen can be reached by hovering on ‘KPI’ in the side menu, and choosing 'Answer Totals' from the options that appear:
What information does this report give me?
This report is split into two tabs: Scores and Trends. These tabs can be found at the top of the page and switched between by clicking on the one you require:
Scores
This tab can be used to see overall volumes and the distribution of answers for each question of a particular survey, for the date range that you have selected.
You can select which survey you would like to inspect by using the 'Selected survey' dropdown towards the top of the page:
Once a survey has been selected, the page will reload and illustrate each question of that survey as individual bar charts:
Each bar chart outlines how many answers were received for that question and the distribution of scores given.
Hovering over a bar shows you the number of responses received for that answer option, and what percentage that is of the overall number of answers received:
Below each bar chart, you can find buttons enabling you to export the chart as an image, or view the responses that the chart comprises:
Clicking 'View Responses' will load the responses in a section below the respective bar chart:
If you would like to see a particular response in more detail, you can click on the 'View' button next to any of them, which will load the response details in an overlay, much like on the Response List:
When on the Scores tab, you can also print the whole page (all bar charts) by clicking on the 'Actions' menu at the top right of the page:
Trends
This tab can be used to inspect volumes and distribution of answers over time, for the date range that you have selected.
You can select which survey you would like to inspect by using the 'Selected survey' dropdown towards the top of the page:
This will reload the page and show each question for your selected survey as a trend chart:
And below each chart you can find the results in tabular form.
Hovering on any trend chart data point will provide you with a percentage breakdown of volumes received for each answer option, for that particular day, week or month (whichever is your current date interval selection):
If you would like to change the date interval used for the trend charts, this can be achieved by using the buttons at the top of the page, next to the 'Selected survey' dropdown:
You can also customise which data lines are drawn on a chart, by clicking the values in the chart Legend. Clicking one will remove it from the chart, and clicking it again will add it back in. This feature allows you to only see the data values that you are interested in:
At any time you can export the chart or data table by using the buttons below any chart:
Or print the entire page by using the 'Actions' button at the top right of the page:
