How do I earn badges?

If your organisation has our Badges feature enabled, staff can earn badges based on pre-determined unlock criteria.

There are several ways to unlock badges. Badges can be based on:

• Survey scores (e.g. five customers scored you 5 out of 5 for 'Knowledge')
• Logging in (e.g. you logged in to the ServiceTick console 50 times)
• Completing 1:1 actions (e.g. you completed 10 actions specified by your manager)
• Creating 1:1 documents (e.g. you created 10 1:1 documents for manager appraisals)
• Saving responses (e.g. you saved five responses in your Feedback dashboard widget)

In addition, managers can have the ability to award manual badges to their team members.

What happens when I unlock a badge?

When you fulfil what is needed to unlock a badge, a notification will pop up to congratulate you on your achievement:

You will also receive an email to the same effect.

If you unlock multiple badges at once, a similar notification message will pop up but with arrows enabling you to cycle through them:

Where can I see the badges I have unlocked?

If you have a dashboard that contains a Badges widget, you can use this to see the last three badges you have earned, as well as the badge you are closest to unlocking next:

And if your organisation is using our badge Leaderboards, this will also be on your dashboard. This shows you how many badges each team member has unlocked and where you rank in the standings:

Is there a way to see all of my badges?

If you would like to view all of your badges (and all badges you are yet to unlock), this can be done by clicking 'Badges' in the side menu:

What does this page show me?

The top section of the 'My Badges' screen details your most recently unlocked badge (left) and the badge you are closest to unlocking next (right).

If there is more than one badge you are close to achieving, you can cycle through them using the arrows that will appear either side of the badge:

Below this section is an area called 'Your Badges'. This area contains two tabs: Unlocked and Locked. Each tab item details a count of how many badges are in each section (how many you have unlocked and how many you are still to get):

Use these tabs to browse all of the badges set up for your organisation. You can hover on a badge to view a description detailing what you achieved to unlock it, or what you need to do to earn it:
