How can badges be awarded?
In addition to staff being able to earn badges based on pre-determined unlock criteria, managers can also have the ability to award badges to their agents manually.
This can be done via the 'My Team' page, which can be found in a manager's side menu:
To award an agent with a manual badge, firstly find the section of the page that relates to them. The 'My Team' screen contains a snapshot summary at the top, followed by individual sections for each agent:
For the agent you would like to award the badge to, click the 'Badges' tab at the right-hand side of their section:
This tab shows you all of the badges the agent has earned, as well as a 'Give Badge' button:
Click the 'Give Badge' button and a window will appear.
This window will show you all of the badges set up for your organisation that can be manually awarded. If there are more than six badges available to award, a 'View all badges' button will be displayed which can be used to expand the badge window and see all of them.
Click the badge you would like to award, use the text box to write the agent a message as to why you are awarding them a badge, and then click the 'Give Badge' button to award it:
The window will close and the agent has been awarded the badge.
How will the agent be notified of their new badge?
In the same way as when agents unlock a system badge, receiving a manual badge displays an overlay that congratulates them on their achievement. This will be displayed when they next log in or (if they are logged in already) load a new page:
