What is the Editing responses feature?
The Editing responses feature allows administrators to edit the filters assigned and question scores given to individual responses.
How to edit responses
Click on the "Responses" and the click "view" on the response you want to edit.
Step 1 - Edit mode
Enter edit mode by scrolling to the bottom of the page and clicking "Edit response".
Step 2 - Edit filters
Scroll to the top of the response and use the select boxes to select the correct filters that should be applied to this response
Step 3 - Edit question scores
Scroll to the question you wish to edit and click the score that should have been given on the response. This will then highlight the new score selected (tick symbol), which will overwrite the previous score given (cross symbol).
Step 4 - Edit custom data
Scroll to the bottom of the response and find the custom data section. You can edit/delete/add new custom data. The first column is the type of custom data (e.g. Customer name), while the edit column is the custom data value (e.g. John Smith). To edit simply click into the text boxes and delete/amend using your keyboard.
To add/delete custom data types, simply click the plus/minus symbols.
Step 5 - Saving a response
Scroll to the bottom of the response and click "Save Edits".
This will bring up a prompt confirming your selection.
Click OK and the edits will be sent for processing.
Other items to note:
- You can also delete an entire response by using the delete button.
- It will take the reporting console up to 2 hours for responses to be fully deleted/saved following editing. During this time a deleted response will still be available and MI will be out of sync while we recalculate.
- There is an Audit log available at the bottom of the response which lists who as previously edited a response and what they have edited etc.
