What is the Exports feature?
The Exports feature allows you to export survey results for a given date range as a CSV file. Each row in the CSV file is an individual response given to the surveys. The columns will include the date, question answers and custom data for the response.
Exports can also be configured to run automatically on a configurable schedule and time period (e.g. runs every Monday and contains last weeks data). When configured you will be notified that the export has completed via email. The email can include the data file if required. All exports files are available via the 'My Exports' section of the console. If you would like to start using the Scheduled Exports please contact your account manager.
How to access the Exports feature
Click on the "Responses" link in the primary navigation and then click the "Exports" link in the sub navigation.
The Exports feature explained
- Export Template select box
This allows you to select an export template. Export templates define which columns are in the CSV export that is produced. By default there will be one standard export Template that covers all surveys, but additional Export templates can be created to minimise the number of columns in the export. If you would like additional export templates then please contact support.
- Custom data selection
This allows you specify whether you want to export all custom data or no custom data.
- Responses/requests selection
This allows you to specify whether you want to export all survey responses (i.e. customer answered one question), all requests (i.e. survey started, but not questions answered) or both sets of data.
- Export button
This takes you to the My exports page and starts processing the requested export. You can then download via the download link on the My exports page once the export has been created.
